Here are some questions you may
want answered.

How much notice should I give if I
need my dog walked or my cat fed?

We would prefer to know a week in advance, however, sometimes it is difficult for you to know what is going to come up on your schedule. In unforeseen circumstances, we should be able to accommodate requests 24 hours in advance.

Will my dog still be walked if it is
raining?

If it is light rain, your dog will still be walked as they will be very disappointed if we don't show up! Please leave us a towel to dry your pet.

What about if there is
a thunderstorm, heavy rain
or extreme heat?

No, we will not walk your pet if there are any dangerous conditions. We will take your pet out to go to the toilet if necessary and wait until conditions are more suitable.

What if there is an emergency?

If it is serious, we will quickly evaluate the situation and decide whether your pet needs to be taken to the vet. We will also have contact numbers for 24 hour emergency vets on hand.

What if I am going to arrive later than
thought or am delayed?

If you let us know, we will arrange for your pet to be fed and walked for the extra time. It is far better that you let us know so that your pet does not become distressed..

My pet can be quite fussy about
meals and needs the food prepared
in a certain way. Is this a problem?

Not at all, if you leave detailed instructions about what your pet likes, we will follow this exactly.

What do I need to do to help you?

Have current identification with a contact phone number on your dog's collar. Ensure we have a spare key to your house and know where to contact you. Ensure we have the name and number of your regular vet. Maintain current vaccinations for your pet and let us know if they are allergic to anything. Take us through your alarm system or any other necessary information for your house. Show us how to use the water tank pump etc if we need to water your garden while you are away.

Do you walk dogs outside the
Killcare area?

Not generally, although it is worth ringing Dianne to see if she has any other recommendations in other areas.
